Abstract
El presente caso clínico es de un paciente con diagnóstico médico de Hemorragia Digestiva Alta, que se encuentra en la unidad de cuidados intensivos de la Clínica San Juan, a quien se le proporciona cuidados de enfermería especializados, humanizado y altamente cualificados, utilizando el Proceso de Cuidados de Enfermería como metodología científica.
Se define como hemorragia digestiva alta aquella que se origina en una lesión situada por encima del ángulo de Treitz. Clínicamente se manifiesta en forma de hematemesis de sangre fresca o en «poso de café», de melenas, con menor frecuencia, como hematoquecia. Es una emergencia médica frecuente y se pretende la aplicación de protocolos que permita un manejo más homogéneo, mejorar la calidad de los cuidados y optimizar la utilización de recursos.
El presente caso clínico ha sido desarrollado en 3 capítulos: capítulo I Marco Teórico, capitulo II Aplicación del Proceso Cuidado de Enfermería, capitulo III Conclusiones y Recomendaciones, haciendo uso de la taxonomía NANDA, NIC y NOC, fundamentado en La Teoría de las 14 Necesidades de Virginia Henderson
The present work is about a clinical case of a patient who has been diagnosticated of Upper Gastrointestinal Bleeding, and he is in The Intensive Care Unit at San Juan clinic, which is provided by specialized, humanized and highly qualified nursing care who is using the Nursing Care Process as a scientific methodology. Furthermore, it is defined as upper digestive hemorrhage that it is originate in a lesion located above angles of Treitz. Clinically it manifests itself in the form of hematemesis of fresh blood or in "coffee grounds", manes, of both, or less frequently as hematoquezia. It is a frequent medical emergency and it is intended the application of protocols that allow a more homogeneous management, improve the quality of assistance and optimize the use of resources. Finally, for this medical case it has been made three chapters: Chapter I, the theoretical framework, Chapter II, nursing care Process Application and Chapter III that it is about the conclusions and recommendations, besides, using of the NANDA taxonomy, NIC and NOC, based in the theory of the fourteen needs of Virginia Henderson.
