Aportes pedagógicos a la educación ambiental: una perspectiva teórica

Abstract
El impacto de la educación ambiental en el mundo ha tenido repercusiones positivas en
torno a la sensibilización en los estudiantes. Sin embargo, esta problemática involucra un
acercamiento necesario de las posturas pedagógicas universitarias para lograr el efecto
que se necesita en los discentes y así alcanzar el objetivo formativo. El presente artículo
tiene como finalidad dar a conocer los aportes pedagógicos relacionados a tres ejes
temáticos: las corrientes en la educación ambiental, los enfoques didácticos y las
estrategias metodológicas. La metodología utilizada parte de la revisión exhaustiva y
sistemática de artículos seminales e informes gubernamentales para progresivamente
orientar la búsqueda hacia artículos en revistas de alto impacto; lo que ha permitido
analizar de manera reflexiva el desarrollo de las mismas a lo largo de cuatro décadas. Por
ello, se pretende que la investigación constituya una base para el planteamiento de futuros
enfoques pedagógicos que permitan una mejor enseñanza de la educación ambiental en
los contextos de estudio, a nivel básico o superior. Finalmente, el trabajo de investigación
permitió identificar las diferentes estrategias relacionadas a los modelos trabajados en
ambientes educativos nacionales e internacionales que han hecho posible la eficacia de la
enseñanza de la educación ambiental y su impacto en el desarrollo sostenible.
The impact of environmental education in the world has had a positive impact on student awareness. However, this problem involves a necessary approach of university pedagogical positions to achieve the effect that is needed in the students and thus achieve the training objective. The purpose of this article is to make known the pedagogical contributions related to three thematic axes: currents in environmental education, didactic approaches and methodological strategies. The methodology used is based on the exhaustive and systematic review of seminal articles and government reports to progressively guide the search towards articles in high impact journals; which has allowed us to reflectively analyze their development over four decades. Therefore, it is intended that the research constitutes a basis for the approach of future pedagogical approaches that allow a better teaching of environmental education in the study contexts, at the basic or higher level. Finally, the research work made it possible to identify the different strategies related to the models worked in national and international educational environments that have made possible the effectiveness of teaching environmental education and its impact on sustainable development.
