Abstract
El estudio “Carga laboral y satisfacción de las enfermeras del Servicio de
Emergencia del Hospital San Juan de Lurigancho, 2018”, cuyo objetivo
general fue determinar la relación que existe entre la carga laboral y la
satisfacción de las enfermeras del servicio de emergencia. La investigación
fue de tipo descriptivo-correlacional, no experimental. La población y
muestra 42 enfermeras. La recolección de la información en la carga
laboral, el instrumento fue de Oneys del Carmen De Arco Canoles (2005)
con 37 ítems, confiabilidad de 0,884 y satisfacción laboral el cuestionario
del MINSA (2002) con 20 ítems, confiabilidad de 0,890, ambos
cuestionarios adaptados por la Lic. Bridith Margarita Campos Taquire.
Resultados: carga laboral nivel medio, 32 enfermeras (76,2%), en sus
dimensiones: física, nivel medio 29 (69%), psicológica, nivel medio 40
(95,2%); comportamental, nivel medio 36 (85,7%) y afrontamiento nivel
medio 30 (71,4%), la satisfacción laboral, nivel bajo 28 (66,7%). Conclusión:
existe relación inversa entre la carga laboral y satisfacción de los
enfermeros y se recomienda al Director General del Hospital y recursos
humanos, contratar más profesionales de enfermería para disminuir la
carga laboral y optimizar las condiciones laborales de las enfermeras y
mejorar la satisfacción laboral.

Conclusion: there is an inverse relationship between the workload and the satisfaction of the nurses and it is recommended to the General Director of the Hospital and human resources, to hire more nursing professionals to reduce the workload and optimize the working conditions of nurses and improve job satisfaction.
