Abstract
Central sensitization is defined operatively as an amplification of neuronal signaling within the central nervous system (CNS) that causes hypersensitivity to pain, manifests clinically, if it presents dynamic tactile allodynia, punctual hyperalgesia of secondary pressure and sensory posterior effects. In this case we mention the articulation of the knee, giving it an anatomical, biomechanical approach and a physiotherapeutic treatment, mentioning the clinical descriptors for its evaluation.
