Abstract
The objective of this study was to determine the effect of the methanolic extract of the bark of Cinchona officinalis L. (Cascarilla) on the sexual behavior of male rats. The study method was experimental observational. The mean lethal dose (LD50) or degree of toxicity was determined, in mice of average weight of 22-41g, between males and females, conformed by 6 groups of five. And, later, to determine the effect on sexual behavior, male rats with an average weight of 250-350g were used, divided into 5 groups of six.
