Abstract
En el presente estudio se plantea como problema principal: ¿De qué manera la conducta agresiva se relaciona con el rendimiento académico del área de comunicación en los estudiantes del VII ciclo de educación secundaria?; la investigación se enmarca en un diseño no experimental de corte transversal, nivel descriptivo correlacional, tipo básica, la población estuvo conformada por 212 estudiantes del VII ciclo de educación secundaria, la muestra es de tipo probabilística estratificada, aplicación de fórmula estadística con un total de 137 estudiantes. Para la recolección de datos se utilizó como técnica la encuesta y la observación, como instrumentos se aplicaron el cuestionario de conducta agresiva y el registro de actas de evaluación del área de comunicación. Para la validación se aplicó el coeficiente de correlación Rho de Spearman rs = -0,655, con un p_valor = 0,000 < 0,05, se concluye que existe relación inversa entre la conducta agresiva y el rendimiento académico del área de comunicación
