Abstract
El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo determinar la influencia de las
aplicaciones de los métodos de Polya y Aprendizaje Basado en
Problemas en el rendimiento matemático de los estudiantes del I.E.P.
Jean Piaget del distrito de Carabayllo, fue aplicada a estudiantes de
tercero y cuarto grado de educación secundaria. El diseño utilizado fue
el pre-experimental con un solo grupo.
La muestra estuvo constituida por 50 estudiantes de tercero y cuarto
grado a quienes se les dividió en dos grupos homogéneos de 25
alumnos, uno para el método de Polya y el otro para el ABP, luego se
les aplicó una pre prueba de 12 preguntas objetivas de 5 alternativas
donde la respuesta correcta tenía un peso de 5 y la más alejada de 1,
para evaluar su rendimiento inicial, seguido de sesiones de enseñanza
aprendizaje de los dos métodos en sus respectivos grupos, finalmente
se evaluó en una pos prueba para medir la influencia de los respectivos
métodos aplicados.
Posteriormente haciendo uso del programa estadístico SPSS se llegó a
la conclusión que efectivamente los métodos de Polya y ABP influyen
positivamente en el rendimiento matemático de los estudiantes sujetos
de investigación.
This study aimed to determine the influence of applications Polya methods and problem-based learning in mathematics achievement of students in the School Jean Piaget Carabayllo District, was administered to students in third and fourth grade of secondary education. The design was the pre-experimental with one group. The sample consisted of 50 students in third and fourth grade who were divided into two homogeneous groups of 25 students, one for the method of Polya and the other for the ABP, then were given a pretest 12 objective questions of 5 alternatives where the correct answer had a weight of 5 and farthest from 1 to evaluate its initial performance, followed by sessions of learning of the two methods in their respective groups, finally evaluated in a posttest to measure the influence of respective methods applied. Then using the statistical program SPSS was concluded that effectively methods Polya and ABP positive influence on student achievement mathematical research subjects.
