Abstract
El objetivo de la investigación fue determinar la relación de las componentes de
la inteligencia emocional con el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes del 5to
ciclo de la Escuela Profesional de Contabilidad de la Universidad Tecnológica de
los Andes. El diseño de la investigación fue descriptivo correlacional.
La población estuvo constituida por 70 estudiantes del 5to ciclo de la Escuela
Profesional de Contabilidad de la Universidad Tecnológica de los Andes; y la
muestra se seleccionó con muestreo no probabilístico de tipo intencionado, quedando
conformada por 60 estudiantes. Para medir la inteligencia emocional se utilizó el
Test de Inteligencia Emocional de BARON ICE. Se empleó como prueba estadística
paramétrica la correlación lineal de Pearson para la comprobación de las hipótesis
de investigación.
Los resultados muestran que los componentes de la inteligencia emocional se
relacionan directamente con el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes del
5to ciclo de la escuela profesional de Contabilidad de la Universidad
Tecnológica de los Andes.
