Abstract
Spastic diplegia is the most common type of Cerebral Palsy, characterized by an exaggerated increase in muscle tone and involvement of the entire body; especially, of the lower trunk, pelvis and lower limbs in relation to the upper limbs; produced by an immature brain injury. Spastic diplegia is considered a motor disorder; since its involvement involves the commitment of movement and posture and represents one of the most frequent causes of motor disability in the pediatric.
