Abstract

Se sabe que los articuladores son aparatos destinados a reproducir los movimientos y posiciones maxilomandibulares estáticas y dinámicas de una persona, debido a ellos hay que tener en cuenta el nexo que existe entre estos dispositivos y las relaciones intermaxilares, las cuales son necesarias conocer, para que el clínico pueda manipular los articuladores con éxito y pueda tener un buen resultado en los tratamientos que realice. El articulador es un instrumento imprescindible para trabajar a un cierto nivel. Estos instrumentos surgieron ante la necesidad de poder imitar los movimientos mandibulares fuera de la boca del sujeto.
