Abstract
It is known that articulators are devices intended to reproduce the movements and positions static and dynamic maxilomandibular of a person, because they have to take into account the Nexus that exists between these devices and intermaxillary relationships, which are necessary to know, so that the clinician can successfully manipulate the articulators and can have a good result in the treatments that he / she performs. The articulator is an essential instrument to work at a certain level. These instruments arose before the necessity of being able to imitate the mandibular movements outside the mouth of the subject. It is considered as a mechanical device with which we can relate models of the dental arch of patients to be able to perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures outside the mouth, and that uses the facial arcs to transfer the maxillary model in the same relationship that keeps the cranium.
