Abstract
La parálisis facial periférica se ve afectado el recorrido del nervio facial o también conocido como séptimo par craneal.
Esta patología es frecuente y tiene como consecuencia que el paciente presenta dificultades para cerrar el globo ocular, además de desviación del ángulo labial, causándole dificultad en su visión y problemas para comer y beber, lo cual provoca cierto tipo de babeo debido a la falta de control sobre los músculos de la cara.
In peripheral facial paralysis, the path of the facial nerve, known as the seventh pair cranial nerve is affected. This pathology is frequent, the patient presents difficulties closing their eyeball. And present a deviation of the labial angle, causing difficulty in his vision and problems to eat and drink, provoking drooling due to lack of control over the muscles of the face this will affect the quality of life of the patient affecting their daily activities
