Abstract
El objetivo de esta investigación fue determinar la concentración de ácido hipúrico como indicador a la exposición de tolueno y como afecta la salud de los trabajadores de imprentas del centro comercial “Centro Lima”, si los signos y síntomas que presentan se relacionan con los niveles de ácido hipúrico y creatinina, así mismo determinar si la concentración de ácido hipúrico se encuentra por encima de los límites máximos permisibles. La metodología de la investigación es tipo descriptivo transversal, cuantitativa, diseño experimental.
The objective of this the research was to determine the concentration of hippuric acid as an indicator to the exposure of toluene and as its effects the health of the printing workers of the "Centro Lima" shopping center and if the signs and symptoms presented by the workers are related to the concentration of hippuric acid and creatinine, as well as to show if the concentration of hippuric acid is above the maximum permissible limits established. The methodology is quantitative, transversal, it also responds to experimental design.
