Abstract
The purpose of the study is based on finding the diagnostic agreement between cephalometric measurements ANB, WITTS, USP, APDI diagnostic impression and expert judgment to determine the sagittal growth pattern. The research was descriptive. ANB cephalometric measures, WITTS, USP, APDI were determined in 40 cephalometric radiographs using the Facad® program. the same films and photographic collage of the same patients, which were subjected to the diagnostic impression of three experts to determine the sagittal growth pattern were used. The kappa coefficient was used to determine the correlation between the results obtained from the cephalometric measurements and diagnostic impression of experts. The results show that the measure cephalometric APDI was more consistent with expert judgment (K = 0.55), followed by the USP, Wits and ANB measures. Moreover, the correlation between cephalometric measurements, the results show a better match between the USP and Wits (K = 0.44). It was concluded that the cephalometric APDI measure showed greater reliability to determine the pattern of sagittal growth.
