Abstract
La principal causa de absentismo en el trabajo, es la incapacidad derivada de
enfermedades, incluyendo a los accidentes de trabajo y particulares, las cuales
pueden constituir hasta las tres cuartas partes del absentismo en las
Instituciones y empresas.
Objetivo: Analizar las característica del absentismo laboral por descansos
médicos en el Personal de la Policía Nacional del Perú.Material y Métodos: Se realizó un estudio retrospectivo, que consistió en la
revisión de los descansos médicos en el año 2010, realizados en los
Establecimientos de Sanidad de la PNP. Se seleccionaron variables como la
edad, sexo, grado, mes y la patología y como indicadores de índices de
frecuencia y gravedad, tomando de referencia las definiciones y clasificaciones
de la Organización Mundial de la Salud y de la Organización Internacional del
Trabajo.
Resultados: Se llega a la conclusión que el absentismo laboral por descansos
médicos influye en la eficiencia como actividad policial en el personal Policial
en el año 2010. El ausentismo dentro del personal Policial, influye dentro de los
indicadores como el índice de frecuencia, tasa de ausentismo, índice de
severidad, promedio de duración del episodio de ausencia. El comportamiento
de otras variables en el ausentismo, como edad, género, cargo, tipo de
contratación, día de la semana y mes del año; se encuentra relacionado de
manera positiva. De acuerdo al diagnóstico más frecuente de absentismo laboral
en el personal de la PoliciaNacional; año 2010, existen grupos con mayor taza
de absentismo.
Conclusiones: Se concluye en la necesidad de profundizar en la génesis
ocupacional del absentismo, así como en estudios cuanti-cualitativos acerca de
las condiciones y medio ambiente de trabajo. También es necesaria la
continuidad de estos trabajos para evaluar la importancia de los indicadores.
Es importante la coordinación, unificación de criterios y de un centro de
información en la temática, así como de implementar los servicios de salud
ocupacional en el trabajo.
The main cause of absenteeism from work, is the disability resulting from diseases, including accidents and individuals, which can be up to three quarters of absenteeism in the institutions and companies. Objective: To analyze the characteristics of absenteeism for medical leaves in the Personal of the National Police of Peru. Material and Methods: A retrospective study, which consisted of reviewing the medical leaves in 2010, made in the establishments of Health of the PNP was performed. Variables such as age, sex, grade, month and pathology and as indicators of frequency and severity rates, taking reference the definitions and classifications of the World Health Organization and the International Labour Organization were selected. Results: It is concluded that absenteeism by doctors breaks influences the efficiency and policing PNP personnel in 2010. Absenteeism among staff PNP influences within the indicators as the frequency index , absenteeism rate, severity index, average episode duration of absence. The behavior of other variables in absenteeism, such as age, gender, position, type of contract, day and month of the year; is related positively. According to the most frequent diagnosis of absenteeism Policing personnel in 2010, groups more cup of absenteeism. Conclusions: We conclude on the need to deepen the occupational origin of absenteeism as well as quantitative and qualitative studies on the conditions and working environment. The continuity of this work is also needed to assess the importance of indicators. It is important coordination, unification of criteria and an information center on the subject, as well as implementing occupational health services at work
