Estilo de liderazgo directivo y desempeño docente en la Institución Educativa Agustiniano San Martín de Porres

Abstract

Motiva esta investigación el buscar la relación entre el estilo de liderazgo de la dirección y el desempeño del docente en la Institución Educativa Agustiniano San Martín de Porres. El diseño de investigación fue el descriptivo correlacional. La muestra estuvo conformada por toda la población con un total de 38 docentes del nivel de educación primaria y secundaria, que laboran en la Institución Educativa Agustiniano San Martín de Porres, la cual se encuentra en la jurisdicción de la UGEL N° 03; y se consideró la muestra censal, en vista que se tomó la decisión de trabajar con el 100% de la población. Se emplearon como instrumentos de investigación la Escala de Liderazgo Directivo y el Cuestionario de Evaluación del Desempeño Docente. Se elaboraron tablas de porcentajes y frecuencias y en la contrastación de hipótesis se eligió como prueba estadística paramétrica la correlación lineal de Pearson. Los resultados indican que el coeficiente de correlación obtenido (r = 0,453; Sig. = 0,002) al relacionar las variables de estudio se observó que es un valor estadísticamente significativo para el nivel de p<0,01. En conclusión, se puede afirmar que existe relación significativa entre el estilo de liderazgo directivo y el desempeño docente en la Institución Educativa Agustiniano San Martín de Porres.

The general objective of the research work was to determine the relationship that exists between the style of directive leadership and the teaching performance in the Educational Institution Agustiniano San Martín de Porres. The research design was the descriptive correlational. The population was confirmed by 38 teachers of the level of secondary education, that work in the Educational Institution Agustiniano San Martín de Porres, which is in the jurisdiction of the UGEL N° 03; and the census sample was considered, given that the researcher decided to work with 100% of the population. The Directive Leadership Scale and the Teacher Performance Evaluation Questionnaire were used as research instruments. Frequency and percentages tables were elaborated, and to the hypothesis testing Pearson's linear correlation was chosen as a parametric statistical test. The results indicate that the correlation coefficient obtained (r = 0.453, Sig = 0.002) between the study variables is a statistically significant value for the level of p<0.01. In conclusion, it can be affirmed that there is a significant relationship between the directive leadership style and the teaching performance in the Educational Institution Agustiniano San Martín de Porres.
