Abstract
Las comunicaciones móviles se convirtieron en una necesidad para personas, organizaciones y ciudades, ya que permiten generar conexiones entre ellas. En algunos lugares, como edificios, tiendas y casas, dependiendo de su estructura, materiales y ubicaciones dificultaran la óptima propagación de señal de las redes outdoor.
La presente investigación se centra en proponer un sistema distribuido de antenas para el edificio Begonias, el cual no cuenta con un óptimo nivel de cobertura 3G y 4G, los trabajadores en las diferentes empresas ubicadas dentro del edificio no pueden realizar llamadas satisfactoriamente y su conectividad de internet no es la óptima.
El propósito es implementar un diseño distribuido de antenas para la mejora de cobertura 3G y 4G. Para el desarrollo de esa solución se adaptó la metodología Top Down Network Design. Los resultados obtenidos en las pruebas de post-proceso y las predicciones de diseños elaborada en este trabajo de investigación indicaron que el diseño y la implementación del sistema distribuido de antenas cumple los indicadores de disponibilidad, rendimiento, adaptabilidad y escalabilidad. Finalmente, se concluye que el sistema distribuido de antenas influyó satisfactoriamente en la mejora de cobertura 3G y 4G
Mobile communications became a necessity for people, organizations and cities, since they allow to generate connections between them. In some places, such as buildings, shops and houses, depending on their structure, materials and locations will hinder the optimal signal propagation of outdoor networks. The present investigation focuses on proposing a distributed system of antennas for the Begonias building, which does not have a 3G and 4G coverage level, the workers in the different companies located inside the building can’t make calls satisfactorily and their connectivity Internet is not optimal. The purpose is to implement a distributed antenna design for the improvement of 3G and 4G coverage. For the development of this solution, it was adapted to the Top Down Network Design methodology. The results obtained in the post-process tests and the predictions of designs elaborated in this research work indicated that the design and implementation of the distributed antenna system meet the indicators of availability, performance, adaptability and scalability. Finally, it is concluded that the distributed antenna system successfully influenced the improvement of 3G and 4G coverage
