Abstract
Supracondileas fractures of the femur are fractures of the distal femur these represent approximately 4% to 6% of femur fractures, are rare and occur by two mechanisms of injury one for having suffered some high energy trauma occurring in young people who are usually the most frequent cases and the other mechanism is for some low-energy trauma that usually occurs in elderly people either by accidental falls in osteoporotic bones which are the least frequent cases and less serious.
