Abstract
El presente trabajo de investigación, es el resultado de un estudio descriptivo, no probabilístico transversal, aplicado a 130 estudiantes (70 varones y 60 mujeres) del quinto de secundaria de la I.E. San Martin de Socabaya - Arequipa, para determinar las posibles conductas procrastinadoras que pudieren tener, así como la correlación entre la procrastinación y la autoestima personal del estudiante.
Se aplicaron los inventarios de: Procrastinación Académica de Busko (1998), traducido y validado por Álvarez (2010) y estandarizado por Domínguez (2016) y el cuestionario de Autoestima forma Escolar de Coopersmith 1967, validado y estandarizado por Ayde Chahuayo y Betty Díaz (1995)
The present research work is the result of a descriptive, correlated bivariate study, applied to 130 students (70 males and 60 females) of the fifth year of high school I E San Martin de Socabaya-Arequipa; to determine possible procrastinating behaviors they may have, as well as the correlation between procrastination and the student's personal self-esteem. The inventories of: Academic Procrastination of Busko (1998), translated and validated by Alvarez (2010) and standardized by Dominguez (2016) and the self-esteem form of Coopersmith school form (1967), validated and standardized by Ayde Chahuayo and Betty Diaz (1995)
