Abstract
La Cetoacidosis Diabética es una complicación grave de la diabetes mellitus en cualquier momento de la enfermedad, provocando inestabilidad hidroelectrolítica y corporal, que pueden llevar a la muerte.
El objetivo de este trabajo académico es servir como guía de atención en las emergencias hospitalarias, debido a su crecimiento desmesurado a nivel mundial.
Presentamos el caso clínico de paciente sexo femenino con diagnóstico médico, diabetes mellitus tipo I, cetoacidosis diabética descompensada, acidosis metabólica anión gap elevado, atendida en la unidad de Emergencias Shock Trauma del Hospital Regional Docente Clínico Quirúrgico Daniel Alcides Carrión, Huancayo
Diabetic ketoacidosis is a complication severe of diabetes mellitus at any time of the disease, causing electrolyte and body inestability that can lead to death. The objective of this academic work is to serve as a guide off attention in the hospital emergencies due to its disproportionate growth worldwide. We present the clinical case of a female patient with diagnosis doctor, Diabetes Mellitus Type I, decompensated diabetic ketoacidosis, metabolic acidosis, elevated Anion Gap, attended in the emergency unit – Shock Trauma of the Regional Clinical Teaching Hospital, Daniel Alcides Carrion, Huancayo.
