Abstract
Tension headache is the most common type of headache, is a pain in the head, scalp or neck associated with tension in the muscles of this area, very common in adults, may be benign, but may be an expression of a serious or potentially fatal disease, has a very high prevalence worldwide and a high incidence, may be more frequent in women than in men is therefore a problem that afflicts the world population by generating health, social , labor and economic because of generating incapacity problems, labor limitation and this generates costs that increase the expense related to health. In this paper we report the use of manual orthopedic therapy with its various techniques and interventions on tension headache studies, systematic reviews, where the background shows us that today's manual techniques currently have a high degree of efficacy in the treatment of this pathology, and it gives us an encouragement to continue seeking more relevant information on the subject, since there is something that until today is not well defined that is the pathophysiology there are several postulates that guide us, to the present there is no specific one
