Abstract

Los antibióticos betalactámicos son un grupo importante para la terapia antiinfecciosa. La alergia a los antibióticos betalactámicos es la alergia más frecuente entre los medicamentos. Las reacciones adversas a fármacos es considerado según la Organización Mundial de la Salud ¨cualquier respuesta nociva y no intencionada a un medicamento, que ocurre en el ser humano a dosis utilizadas normalmente para profilaxis, diagnóstico y tratamiento¨. La reacción de hipersensibilidad es el efecto con mayor frecuencia al utilizar estos fármacos, puede ser de tipo inmediata, acelerada, tardía y enfermedad del suero.
