Abstract
El propósito de esta investigación es dar un aporte al conocimiento de la inervación e irrigación de las piezas dentarias del hueso maxilar superior y del hueso maxilar inferior. Las arterias que conllevan a la nutrición del aparato masticador son la arteria lingual, arteria facial y arteria maxilar interna, todas ramas de la arteria carótida externa. Las piezas dentarias del hueso maxilar superior están irrigadas por ramas de la arteria alveolar y arteria suborbitaria, ambas pertenecen al sistema de la arteria maxilar interna. Las piezas dentarias del hueso maxilar inferior están irrigadas por la arteria incisiva, arteria mentoniana, las cuales tienden a hacer anastomosis y formar la arteria dentaria inferior. El sistema dentario y los tejidos perimaxilares están inervados por las ramas del maxilar superior y mandibular del nervio trigémino. Se emplea una variedad de técnicas anestésicas, para el bloqueo vascular de dichas piezas dentarias. En un estudio se realiza La extracción del tercer molar inferior incluido puede ocasionar lesiones del nervio lingual transitorias (entre el 2% y 10%) o permanentes (por debajo del 0,5%). Se trata de paciente femenina de 22 años de edad, quien acude al Curso de Perfeccionamiento en Cirugía Bucal de la Facultad de Odontología de la Universidad de Los Andes (FOULA), con indicación de exodoncia de los terceros molares inferiores incluidos, se aplicó anestesia troncular mandibular e infiltrativa, se diagnosticó una parestesia lingual mediante la prueba del pinchazo.
The purpose of this research is to contribute to the knowledge of the innervation and irrigation of the teeth of the maxillary bone and the lower jaw. The arteries that lead to the nutrition of the chewing apparatus are the lingual artery, facial artery and internal maxillary artery, all branches of the external carotid artery. The teeth of the maxillary bone are irrigated by branches of the alveolar artery and suborbital artery, both belong to the system of the internal maxillary artery. The teeth of the lower jaw are irrigated by the incisive artery, the mentonal artery, which tend to anastomose and form the inferior dental artery. The dental system and the perimaxillary tissues are innervated by the upper jaw and mandibular branches of the trigeminal nerve. A variety of anesthetic techniques are used for the vascular blockage of said teeth. In one study, the extraction of the included lower third molar can cause transient (between 2% and 10%) or permanent (below 0.5%) lingual nerve injuries. This is a 22-year-old female patient, who attended the Course of Improvement in Oral Surgery of the Faculty of Dentistry of the University of Los Andes (FOULA), with indication of exodontia of the lower third molars included, a truncal anesthetic was applied mandibular and infiltrative, a lingual paresthesia was diagnosed by the puncture test
