Abstract
El objetivo de esta investigación fue determinar la relación entre la promoción
de la salud y la prevención de las enfermedades parasitarias en niños
menores de 5 años, Centro de Salud Carlos Protzel – 2019. Investigación de
tipo cuantitativo, método descriptivo correlacional y diseño no experimental.
La muestra fue de 81 pacientes. Como instrumento el cuestionario con validez
y confiabilidad de 0.848 y 0.842 respectivamente. Los resultados arrojaron
que él 6.2 % de las madres menores de 5 años tienen una mala precepción
de la promoción de la salud, el 28.4% regular y el 65.4% una buena
percepción. Asimismo el 8.6% de madres de los niños menores de 5 años
tienen una mala precepción de prevención de las enfermedades parasitarias,
23.5% regular y el 67.9% buena percepción. Se concluyó que la promoción
de la salud influye significativamente con la prevención de las enfermedades
parasitarias, según la correlación de Rho de Spearman de 0,951. Se
recomendó a la enfermera responsable del programa de crecimiento y
desarrollo del Centro de Salud Carlos Protzel, implementar un plan dirigido
a las madres de los niños menores de cinco años, para disminuir las
enfermedades oportunistas como las parasitarias y mejorar el estado de salud
de los niños.
The objective of this academic research was determine the relationship that exist between the promotion of the health and the prevention of parasitic disease on children under five years old at Carlos Protzel Health Center - 2019. The research had a quantitative type, the method was descriptive and correlational, besides, the design was non experimental. The study sample consisted by 81 patients. In addition, it has been used the questionnaire as an instrument, which it had a reliability and validity of 0.848 and 0.842 respectively. The results showed that the 6.2% of the mothers who have children under 5 years old have a bad perception of the health, the 28.4% regular level and the 65.4% a good perception. Additionally, the 8.6% of the mothers who has children under 5 years old have a bad perception of parasitic disease, the 23.5% a regular and the 67.9% a good one. So, it concluded that the promotion of the health affect significatively with the prevention of parasitic disease, according with the correlation of Rho Spearman of 0.951, it suggested to the nurse who is in the charge of the development and growth program at Carlos Protzel Health Center to implement a plan that is for the mothers who have children under 5 years old, because in this way it will help to decrease opportunistic diseases such as parasitic diseases and improve the health status of children.
