Abstract
En este trabajo se está tomando en cuenta tanto el perfil psicológico del niño en la diferentes edades, en donde el comportamiento humano se estudia desde el ámbito psicológico para así poder comprender como es el comportamiento, por ello se ha estudiado varias teorías del desarrollo cognitivo y psicológico, teoría psicosexual de Freud, teorías conductuales del desarrollo, teorías sociales, teoría sociocultural de Vygotsky, las características generales de los niños, de cómo es su comportamiento en el consultorio dental, cuales son los variables y factores en el entorno del niño que determinan su conducta en el consultorio dental; para poder saber cómo llegar y tener un buen manejo del niño utilizando diferentes técnicas de manejo de conducta no farmacológicos y farmacológicos, por ejemplo las técnicas de reacondicionamiento que se trata de que el niño pierda el miedo a la odontología y pueda gozar de los tratamientos haciéndole entender al niño que no debe tener miedo porque no hay peligro alguno, por ello lo primero que se tiene que hacer es saber el de porque tiene miedo a la sala dental y luego tratar de eliminar ese miedo para así sea más fácil el tratamiento dental; es por eso que debemos hacer que los niños se familiaricen con los instrumentos dentales para que así pierdan el miedo; explicándole cada una de ellas con sus funciones utilizando palabras sencillas para que puedan entenderlo, luego se recomienda empezar del tratamiento más sencillo al más complejo porque es una buena táctica, a menos que sea necesario un tratamiento de urgencia; desafortunadamente los niños actualmente todavía asisten al consultorio dental por motivos de dolor de dientes intensos y con necesidad de tratamientos extensos como: (por ejemplo una pulpectomia) esto es debido a la mala higiene dental que tiene, es por ello que se debe concientizar mas a los padres de familia sobre la higiene bucal para que así los niños no solo asistan al dentista por motivo de dolor dental, porque así será más traumático para los niños ya que los tratamientos serán largos y un poco doloroso; es por eso que se ha ido estudiando actualmente muchas nuevas técnicas actualizadas como la hipnosis, distracción de audio, visual, terapia musical, aromaterapia, etc
In this work we are taking into account both the psychological profile of the child at different ages, where human behavior is studied from the psychological level in order to understand how behavior is, so we have studied several theories of cognitive development and psychological, Freud's psychosexual theory, behavioral theories of development, social theories, sociocultural theory of Vygotsky, the general characteristics of children, how is their behavior in the dental office, what are the variables and factors in the environment of the child that determine your behavior in the dental office; to be able to know how to reach and have a good management of the child using different techniques of non-pharmacological and pharmacological behavior management, for example the techniques of reconditioning is that the child loses the fear of dentistry and can enjoy the treatments doing it understand the child who should not be afraid because there is no danger, so the first thing to do is to know why you are afraid of the dental room and then try to eliminate that fear to make it easier dental treatment; That is why we must make children familiarize themselves with dental instruments so that they lose their fear; explaining each of them with their functions using simple words so they can understand it, then it is recommended to start from the simplest to the most complex treatment because it is a good tactic, unless emergency treatment is necessary; unfortunately children are still currently attending the dental office due to intense tooth pain and in need of extensive treatments such as: (for example a pulpectomy) this is due to the poor dental hygiene that has, that is why it should be more aware parents about oral hygiene so that children not only attend the dentist because of dental pain, because this will be more traumatic for children as the treatments will be long and a little painful; That is why many new updated techniques such as hypnosis, audio distraction, visual, musical therapy, aromatherapy, etc. have been studied at the moment
