Abstract
La presente investigación incluye como tema central el lavado de manos
como hábito de higiene que garantiza la salud, particularmente preventiva.
Además, hace uso de aspectos importantes como la metodología utilizada que
tiene valor científico, cuyo objetivo fue determinar la relación entre la consejería
de enfermería y la práctica de lavado de manos en los estudiantes de la
Institución Educativa Alfa y Omega Chincha 2016. El diseño de investigación
fue no experimental, correlacional con enfoque cuantitativo, la población estuvo
constituida por 175 escolares, se obtuvo una muestra de 60 estudiantes de 4to,
5to y 6to grado de primaria, la técnica utilizada fue la encuesta y como
instrumento un cuestionario de opción múltiple para la primera variable en tanto
que para la segunda variable se tomó la observación y como instrumento una
guía de observación establecida por el MINSA. El procesamiento de datos se
realizó a través del paquete estadístico SPSS versión 20, tomando en cuenta la
escala de Stanones para la consejería y promedio para las prácticas de lavado
de manos. Asimismo, se tomó en cuenta el chip cuadrado para establecer la
relación entre las variables de estudio. Resultados: la consejería de enfermería
según dimensión, proceso de orientación, aspectos básicos y materiales fue
regular alcanzando 70%,73% y 78%; mientras que en técnica de lavado de
manos fue deficiente 42%, siendo de manera global regular 63%. La práctica
de lavado de manos fue inadecuada alcanzando 87%. Conclusiones: se
demostró que si existe relación entre la consejería enfermería y la práctica de
lavado de manos en los estudiantes de la Institución Educativa Alfa y Omega
Chincha 2016.
This research includes central theme hygiene habits that ensure better health, particularly preventive and especially in children. It also makes use of important issues such as the methodology that has scientific value because its use is well founded, whose objective was to determine the relationship between knowledge and practice handwashing students of School Alfa and Omega Chincha 2016. the research design was not experimental, correlational quantitative approach, the population he was constituted by 175 students, of which a sample of 60 students amount obtained by probability sampling where students 4th considered was obtained, the 6th and 6th grade, the technique used was the survey and as an instrument of a multiple choice for the first variable while for the second variable was taken into account observation and as an instrument an observation guide established by the Ministry of Health. Data processing was performed using SPSS version 20, taking into account the scale of Stanones for the average knowledge and practices handwashing. It also took into account the chi square to establish the relationship between the study variables. Results: Knowledge as basics and material dimension was regularly reaching 70%,73% and 78%; while hand washing technique was poor 42%, with regular globally 63%. The practice of handwashing was inadequate reaching 87%. Conclusions showed that there is a relationship between knowledge and practice of handwashing students of School Alfa and Omega Chincha 2016.
