Abstract
Los servicios de emergencia de las instituciones de salud suelen ser los establecimientos donde acuden a atenderse las mujeres víctimas de violencia de género (VG), sin embargo, solo el 1% aproximadamente del problema de violencia es identificado por los profesionales de salud quienes limitan su atención a tratar las dolencias físicas sin vincularlas a la violencia. .Objetivo general: Determinar la relación de los conocimientos, actitudes y conductas de los médicos y enfermeras en la atención a la mujer victima de VG en los servicios de emergencia en Lima Metropolitana. Método descriptivo, analítico, correlacional, de corte transversal. La muestra estuvo conformada por 142 médicos y 56 enfermeras seleccionados en forma aleatoria en 5 hospitales de Lima MINSA. El instrumento es un cuestionario validado prueba de pearson ítem > 0.2 , para la confiabilidad se aplica la prueba alfa de cronbach = 1. El procesamiento mediante el programa excell y el paquete estadístico SPSS versión 17, el grado de significación se calculó con el método del Ji cuadrado. Resultados: El conocimiento de médicos y enfermeras sobre VG es de medio a escaso, la conducta frente a la víctima es deficiente, prevalece la actitud media hacia la violencia de género siendo mayor el rechazo en las enfermeras que en los médicos evidenciándose cierta permisividad a la VG en algunos aspectos.

General objective: Determine the relationship of knowledge, attitudes and behaviors of doctors and nurses in the care of women victims of VG in the emergency services in Metropolitan Lima. Descriptive, analytical, correlational, cross-sectional method. The sample consisted of 142 doctors and 56 nurses selected randomly in 5 hospitals of Lima MINSA. The instrument is a questionnaire validated pearson test item> 0.2, for the reliability is applied the alpha test of cronbach = 1. Processing through the program excell and the statistical package SPSS version 17, the degree of significance was calculated with the method of Chi square. Results: The knowledge of doctors and nurses about VG is medium to low, the behavior towards the victim is deficient, the average attitude toward gender violence prevails, the rejection being greater among nurses than among doctors, and a certain permissiveness to the VG in some aspects.
